Pour into future world changers, our middle school students. We would love to have you help us set up and tear down student environments, check-in, or lead small groups.

Are you interested in helping out but staying out of the spotlight? You can go behind the scenes and volunteer with set up or tear down for one of our portable campuses (Birmingham or Clarkston).  We could use some extra hands setting up for weekend services and packing the trailers back up afterward.

Celebration Place is a pre-recovery program for children 5-12 years old. This program is currently available only at our Troy Campus. To serve, please continue through the process.

If you enjoy people and a great cup of “Joe” the Coffee Team is for you! This team is a vital part of what makes guests feel at ease when they walk in the door and prepares them to experience the services.

Love to be a part of things? Events might look a little different right now, but we still need you to help support the events that are taking place at our campuses. Events like our Red Cross Blood Drives or the Forgotten Harvest Food Truck at Clinton Twp. Prayerfully more events and opportunities to gather are just around the corner. Join the fun!

Kensington is a big place, and the best way to shrink it down is to plug into a group. Groups, both virtual and in-person, study the Bible or follow a topic-based curriculum while creating community with others of similar life stages or interests. Do you want to start your own group? Do you have a passion to volunteer with individuals with special needs? KFriends is a ministry for teens and adults with special needs that meets weekly at the Troy and Orion campuses.

Pour into the next generation of world changers, our babies through 5th graders in our Kensington Kids program. Do you love babies and toddlers? We would love to have you join our nursery team to cuddle babies and play with toddlers. Are you passionate about preschool through elementary schoolers? We would love to have you join us by leading a small group of children or teaching lessons. We also have opportunities for you to help families with check-in or assist with tech. Kkids meets Sunday during all services. We have a place for you!  

Lifeline is an adult ministry that may provide short-term crisis assistance to Kensington attendees and their families. Each Lifeliner can serve in this ministry according to their own ability. They may pray for our care receivers, send encouragement cards, prepare and/or deliver meals, provide transportation, run errands, make donations for gift cards, etc. and in general help families get through a difficult time in their lives.

For couples who are engaged, newly married, or need some help through a tough season, having another couple in their life to provide biblical guidance, share advice, and listen prayerfully is a priceless advantage. To be a mentor, you don’t need to have all the answers (training is provided) – but you do need to have been married for at least 5 years.

Do you have a medical background? Volunteer and be a part of this vital team that keeps our campuses safe. Doctors, nurses, EMS techs and other first responders are on call during services and special events to provide first aid in medical emergencies until an ambulance arrives, if necessary. This team offers flexible scheduling: be on call while you enjoy a service.

Members of our Pastoral Care Team receive comprehensive training to serve as trained listeners. Training is held once a year, generally in the Fall. Upon completion of training, team members meet with hurting people to provide encouragement and prayer. To serve please continue through the process.

Do you have a passion for creativity? We are looking for musicians, singers, actors and artists of any medium. Come be a part of creating moments for people to engage with God.

Have a passion for photography and want to learn more and serve the church? Sign up to join a community of volunteer photographers across our six campuses for learning labs, community events, and serving opportunities.

If you love to pray or want to grow in prayer, the Prayer Team is the place for you. This team prays and intercedes for guests seeking answers, reassurance, comfort, and direction from God.

Want to jump in behind the scenes? This team includes Lighting, audio, video, service support, and set building.

Help keep our guests and kids safe. This team provides security for our auditorium and lobby and is also an essential part of our Kensington Kids area, ensuring that only authorized people enter the  KKids hallways. Both men and women are welcome! Mandatory training is necessary.

Are you out-going? Do you love people? Then The Hub is the place for you. With all safety protocols in place you will help sign in those that attend without a ticket as well as welcome new guests, answer questions about getting connected, and offer options for next steps.

If you love the outdoors and greeting people, then the Traffic Team is the place for you! This team not only directs our guests in the parking lot safely, but are also the first to greet guests as they arrive. Opportunity to see a service while serving.

Not sure where you want to serve? You can still put in a request to have someone from your campus give you a call to discuss how you can get plugged in.

Be a part of making a great first impression for our guests. You will be on the front lines smiling and welcoming our guests as you hold the door, assist with ticket check-in or help them find a safe social distanced seat in the auditorium. We always want to welcome people in our doors as if they are entering our own home. We promise that even with a mask on people can tell when you have a smile on your face!
