INSIGHTS

Insights is an in-depth Bible study taught by our own Kensington women. Each week a new teacher shares her love of Jesus, reveals Biblical truths, and connects how it applies to our lives. Insights meets weekly for two hours, beginning with a large group teaching then breaking into small groups for discussion. Insights will be studying the book of Genesis, chapters 1-11, which will include a study of Scientific Creationism.

Suggested donation of $15 for materials. Childcare is available for daytime programs. Optional donation is available to offset the cost of child care for those mothers who could be blessed by your support. Insights homework is available for pickup on the first day.

Insights resources, including study guides and teaching videos, are available at insightsbiblestudy.org.

ENCOUNTER

Encounter is a topical Bible study using video teachings in a large-group setting, accompanied by small-group discussion. Fall 2021 groups will be meeting in person unless otherwise noted.

Workbook costs for the Fall 2021 semester will vary by campus and study; you will be prompted during registration to purchase your workbook from Kensington and will get it on the first day or purchase it on your own.

Kensington Young Moms

Kensington Young Moms is a program designed to offer support to women with young children from infancy to kindergarten. Kensington Young Moms encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

All Campuses

Kensington Young Moms will not be offered this fall due to a shortage of childcare workers.

The Well

The Well is a gathering place to connect just as you are. We share stories, Biblical truths, intentional connection time, while creating a safe (and fun!) place for women to courageously reclaim their identity in Christ. We will also focus heavily on supporting those around us, reminding each other that God intended us to live in community. Meets the third Tuesday of every other month from 7-8:30 pm in Clarkston (September 21, November 16, January 18, March 15, May 17).

What to Expect
We’re so grateful for this community and your flexibility as we monitor and respond to the ever-changing COVID recommendations and protocols.
Beginning June 13, masks are optional at all Kensington services, events, and ministry gatherings for kids, students, and adults. We know that everyone needs to make the right health decisions for themselves and their family, so if you feel comfortable removing your mask, you may. And if you’d like to continue wearing a mask or face covering, you may do that as well. This is a personal choice – only you can decide what is best for yourself when attending in-person at Kensington.

If you are sick, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have possibly been exposed to COVID-19, please plan to stay home and participate in our services via our many online streaming options.
