We have been participating in Hope Water since 2014 and are committed to helping bring clean water to the Pokot tribe in Kenya. We know that we take for granted the clean water that we get to drink each day, but more so, we understand the hardship that the women of the Pokot tribe has to do to find clean water for their family and community, walking miles with 40+ pounds of water on their head or shoulders. Training for these races has taught us the discipline, perseverance and the hope that one day everyone in the world will have the opportunity that we have for such a basic essential. May the Lord bless all of us in this time of need.
