Hello HWP family and friends! Thank you so much for coming alongside me again in the effort to bring clean water to the Pokot. The Pokot are extremely special to me, I have been to the children's homes, I have met and been loved by local families, I have hugged the teachers. I have played games and read books with the children. I have laughed and cried both tears of joy and sadness while starring up at the gorgeous African sky. I was given my Pokot name, Dorcas, by two beautiful teenage girls...now if that doesn't tell you the beauty of what we do! These gorgeous young women, I met a zillion miles from anything close to what you and I would consider a city, but they pulled from scripture without batting an eye that they would name me Dorcas because she was a woman from the bible who was full of good works. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. Please join me to ensure the children and families of the Pokot are ALL reached by both access to clean water and the message of Jesus.
