Easter Egg Hunt @ Beverly Park

Kensington Birmingham is excited to be sponsoring the Beverly Hills Easter Egg Hunt at Beverly Park again this year! The event will be on Saturday, March 28. It takes many volunteers to make this event a success. To sign up to volunteer at the event, register below and you will be contacted by our event coordinator Claire South.

Here are some event details.
Saturday, March 28 from 1-3pm
Beverly Park (13 ½ Mile, Between Evergreen & Southfield)

Egg Hunts divided by Ages:
1:20 – Ages 3 and under
1:30 – Ages 4-6
1:40 – Children with Special Needs
1:50 – Ages 7 and up

Free Activities, Beverages, and a special guest!

The egg hunt is a fun opportunity for Kensington to serve the local community.
Most serving opportunities have 2 shifts. Keep in mind when you are signing up that if you have young children who will be in one of the egg hunts you should not sign up for a shift during that time period (1:10-1:35) unless you have someone else to assist your children at the egg hunt. We will contact you in a few days to confirm which time works best for you.

Set-up event: Arrive early to move tables and set out signs and table clothes. Help unload supplies from cars. We could use a few strong people for the initial set up because the tables and some of the supplies are heavy.
Break-down event: Following the event, help breakdown the event and clean up the pavilion. Picnic tables need to be put back in their original places.
Cookie decorating table: Assist children with cookie decorating and restocking supplies.
Volunteer Check-in Table: Hand out name badges and show the volunteers where to go.
Egg Hunt Helpers: Set out eggs in roped off areas and guard the areas until the hunts are over.
Greeters: Welcome guests at the entrance and hand out flyers with event information.
Coffee/Hot Chocolate servers: Serve coffee and hot chocolate.
Cotton Candy makers: Serve cotton candy to guests. This is a fast paced job and you will be covered in cotton candy!
Security: Monitor the event and help with lots children and small, medical issues (bandaids and boo boos).
Parking: Direct people in the street when the parking lot is full.
Helper bunnies: This is a great opportunity for middle school and high school students. You wear bunny ears and walk around with extra Easter eggs to give to any children who did not get eggs or look like they could use a few more.
