Our women’s retreat is a 3-day experience for women of all ages who need encouragement, time for reflection, lots of laughter, and community with other women.

We are excited to partner with SpringHill Camp and invite you to attend the 2025 Women’s Retreat on September 26-28, 2025, at SpringHill Camp in Evart, Michigan. The SpringHill/Kensington team is working together to create a weekend to celebrate life, build friendships, grow in our faith, and have tons of fun!

The theme for the retreat is Making Our Home in God. The weekend speaker, Alyson Pryor, is a writer, teacher, and therapist with a passion to co-journey with others as they walk with God.

Kensington and SpringHill are co-hosting this retreat. Kensington attenders will be placed in a dedicated housing area separate from other attendees registering directly with SpringHill. Kensington women are grouped by Kensington campus and roommate requests.

Cabins have bunk beds and electrical outlets; bathrooms and showers are housed separately nearby. If you require specific housing accommodations due to a medical condition, please note that during registration. We will do our best to accommodate all medical requests.

Smaller breakout sessions and activities will be offered during free time. Cabin small group discussion will take place after main sessions. Whether you desire a deeper dive or to simply quiet your mind, you can structure your weekend to receive what you need and God has for you.

The women’s retreat serves as a respite for the weary.
A place of peace for the discomforted.
A place of hope for the discouraged.
A place to find your source, identity, and rest in Jesus Christ.
And a place where you can hear God’s word and know you are loved.
Our team is filled with joy and expectancy for what God is going to do during this weekend. We can’t wait to see you there!

SPEAKER BIO
Alyson Pryor is a trained marriage and family therapist and a certified spiritual director. She holds degrees in Psychology from both The University of Southern California and Fuller Theological Seminary, as well as an MA in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot Seminary. In her writing and speaking, she most often covers topics at the intersection of faith and psychology, including relationships, spiritual growth, parenting, leadership, and soul care. She currently serves as a staff spiritual director and adjunct faculty member at Biola University. $100 Refund from September 1 to September 15

We’re here to help. Whatever the barrier, let’s talk and see if we can help you remove it. To apply for an event grant, please complete the Event Grant Application Form. Kensington Church awards grants based on need and availability of funds. You must submit this form on or before September 1, 2025 for consideration. Complete the application HERE.
