This team will travel deep into the Kenyan bush to meet the women of Pokot to encourage, educate and empower them and support the ministry activities to change the detrimental practices that oppress girls. They will also be supporting the National Zero Tolerance Day which speaks out against FGM.
This team will travel deep into the Kenyan bush to meet the women of Pokot to encourage, educate and empower them and support the ministry activities to change the detrimental practices that oppress girls. They will also be supporting the National Zero Tolerance Day which speaks out against FGM. Pokot Outreach Ministries was founded by Julius Murgor to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of the tribe. The ministry provides support through children’s homes and schools, spiritual and leadership training for pastors and evangelists, medical care through the Kapenguria clinic, and water provision via well drilling.
The cost of the trip is $3,765, including a deposit due at application.
