**THIS TRIP IS FULL**This team will travel to Nepal and will be working with girls from local villages who are at-risk of being trafficked by providing leadership/empowerment skills, encouraging the girls to continue with their education and updating girls who are already part of the NoChild sponsorship program. The team will also have the opportunity to visit and encourage the staff of our partner in Nepal as well as visit a border station and the training center. Sponsors may have the opportunity to visit with their sponsored children in Nepal (contingent upon several factors). Cost of the trip is $4500 with a $450 non-refundable deposit due at application.
The trafficking of women and children for sexual exploitation is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world. Independent research indicates that up to 40,000 girls are trafficked each year from Nepal to India to work in brothels within India and throughout the Middle East. Kensington is partnering with a local NGO to rescue girls being trafficked and to transform communities with the gospel.
