School Partners | Shopping Cart
It’s that time of year again when students and educators are heading back to school. Although there will be a remote learning option, schools are preparing for full in-person instruction. As always, Kensington is committed to supporting the students and staff at our local partner schools by demonstrating the love of Jesus in practical ways.
Our annual Back-to-School Outreach allows Kensington families to give the gift of much-needed school supplies to over 4,000 students across our 10 partner schools. In addition to the traditional school supplies, uniforms have been added to the shopping list. Children will have outgrown the clothes they wore 18 months ago, and families may not be equipped to manage the additional cost of new uniforms. We hope to alleviate financial hardship through our support.
We are expanding and changing volunteer opportunities as we reimagine what school partnership can look like after 18 months of COVID. In the interest of ease and efficiency, we encourage use of our virtual shopping cart. However, bins will also be available in our lobby should you choose to donate tangible items. The five items that will be accepted in the lobby bins are crayons, pencils, glue sticks, spiral notebooks/composition books, and 2-pocket folders. All items must be NEW. Click "Register" to be a virtual shopper for School Partners. You can select from a list of specific items to purchase, or make a general donation and we’ll do the shopping for you.
