Error
September 26, 2020 I hope you are all doing well. I'm just getting ready to head out for my weekly long run. The weather looks perfect. Although, my legs have been feeling dead the last few weeks, I have been continuing to accumulate the miles. It’s pretty strange this year, with no formal events to look forward to. The usual events I run in the fall have both been cancelled. That said, I’m still running with a purpose to raise money for the Pokot tribe in northwest Kenya. A few months ago, I had the privilege of having dinner with someone who took a mission trip there. The stories they told about how we can love on the Pokot by gifting them clean water really touched my heart. This year, I’ve logged 1,121 miles and have set a goal of running 1,182 total miles which is the distance from my home to Disney World (why not pick somewhere fun?!?).
