In 2021, at just 33 years old, I heard the terrifying words "you're having a heart attack." From that day on, I made a commitment that I will never put my health last. I started running as soon as I was cleared, and now I run for my health and my heart, but my heart longs to do more for others. I will be running the Detroit International Half Marathon with the Hope Water Project team! Hope Water Project is committed to providing clean water by partnering with communities and drilling deep water wells in some of the world’s neediest areas. Currently Hope Water Project’s goal is to raise money to dig 1,000 wells for the Pokot tribe in Kenya.
