Clarkston Breakaway & Edge | Camp Cavell

Clarkston Breakaway (grades 6 - 8) and Edge (grades 9 - 12) students are invited to join us for a weekend get away as we serve together in community and learn about the transformational power of Jesus in our lives! Meals, lodging, transportation and activities are all included in the cost. Details about the trip are listed below, but spots are limited, so register soon!

Transportation
Clarkston Breakaway Leaders are carpooling students in their vehicles from the Clarkston Jr. High at 6:30pm on Friday, May 3 and returning to the Clarkston Jr. High at 11:15am on Sunday, May 5.

Lodging Camp
Cavell has cabins located on their campground that hold up to 12 people per cabin. Each cabin will have up to 10 students and 2 leaders, and come with an on-site bathroom and shower. Students will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow or twin size sheets and blankets for the beds.

Meals
Camp Cavell has a full kitchen and staff that will cook our meals throughout the weekend. If your child has any specific dietary restrictions, please let us know and we can accommodate. We encourage students to bring snacks and treats for the weekend.

Service Project
On Saturday, May 4 students will be helping with different service projects on the campground. This year, we will focus our time and efforts helping Camp Cavell clean up and repair their playground area and structures. Students are encouraged to bring gardening/work gloves.
