A Journey Towards Managing God's Provided Resources
Financial Compass is an 8-week class providing financial principles, practical steps, and coaching.
In this course we will learn about:
Tracking Expenses - Reveal what money means to you and begin to see where your money goes. Look for things you are grateful for and acknowledge the goodness in our lives.
Quick-Start Budget - Discuss the myths and realities of budgeting. Build a basic budget to show how much income is needed every month to cover your expenses.
Zero-Based Budgeting - Allocate all your money to expenses, savings, and debt payments. Discuss how often you update your budget and how you involve your family in the budgeting process.
Allocated Spending - Create a cash flow plan which builds a timeframe of when you spend your money. Break down your income by pay period to see when you could have a shortage of resources.
Debt Elimination - A great way to eliminate debt is the snowball method strategy. Discuss debt elimination tips and cautions.
Resourced Giving - Discover what the Bible says about stewardship and how it affects our budget. God gives us spiritual gifts to serve others.
