THIS TEAM IS FULL. This team will travel deep into the Pokot bush to visit three Pokot children's homes in order to update child sponsorship information and learn about the lives and culture of the Pokot people. Sponsors may have the opportunity to visit with their sponsored children (contingent upon several factors including the individual student's school schedule). This trip is in need of both men AND women of all ages to engage with and encourage the students and staff at the homes.
Located in northwestern Kenya, Pokot Outreach Ministry seeks to address the spiritual and physical needs of the Pokot people. Julius and Rachel Murgor work with the Pokot people of northwest Kenya. This ministry has been reaching more and more of this people group each year for many years. The primary emphasis is to bring the Gospel to each Pokot, through evangelistic services under trees in the bush, establishing churches and training indigenous leaders and pastors.
