Join us for a brand new medical trip to India! This trip is a pilot program, in partnership with our partner CEM, that focuses on providing practical, high-impact care. We will host first aid and CPR skills training and work under a local Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy support to elderly individuals, post-surgical patients, and members of the local communities.
Because this is a new and evolving mission, flexibility and adaptability are essential. Needs on the ground may shift day to day, and team members should be ready to respond in the moment, problem-solve creatively, and step outside their usual role when needed.
We're looking for a team of:
(1-2 people) CPR-certified instructor – to lead CPR training and certification-style instruction to groups of various ages
(1-2 people) Physical Therapist/Physical therapy assistants – to lead rehabilitation exercises and mobility care under the direction of local medical professionals
(1-2 people) Medical assistants – to develop and teach first aid training on wounds, wound care, and burns, designed for a broad audience including older kids, teachers, pastors, and caretakers
(2 people) Non-medical volunteers – to assist with logistics, hospitality, and community outreach
Ideal team members are adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity — willing to adjust plans and pitch in wherever the need is greatest.
The cost of this trip is $3000 with a $300 non-refundable deposit due at registration.
